Purpose

At RegenerAction Japan, we will explore the concept of regeneration—now a global trend—and look at how it is being put into practice, with the aim of expanding its reach even further.

As today’s global and social environments increasingly pose numerous challenges to humanity, the idea of regeneration is gradually spreading, mainly in Europe, as a means to realize a future that goes beyond sustainability. Now that the international community is starting to look beyond monetary value economic indicators (Beyond GDP) and pay attention to well-being, we believe that it is time for Japan to become actively involved in such regeneration initiatives.

RegenerAction Japan aims to recapture the regenerative Japan that was once naturally embodied in its traditions, to make Japan a new role model for the world, and to realize a regenerative world by spreading the vision and outcomes of regeneration, particularly from cities where challenges are concentrated, and especially from Tokyo, a major global city.

What is Regeneration?

Regeneration is a concept that aims to pursue the well-being of the planet, society, and people simultaneously, creating widespread value and a prosperous future for multiple stakeholders.
