開催目的
世界的な潮流となりつつある「リジェネレーション」の思想と実践を、日本ならではの文脈で理解し、実装し、国内外に発信するため、私たちは 「RegenerAction Japan」 を開催いたします。
近年、地球環境や社会環境を取り巻く課題は複雑化し、より一層過酷になる気候変動や、地政学リスクと世界情勢の不安定化、そしてAIの浸透とともに私たち人間の在り方も大きく変化しています。こうした状況の中、国際社会ではBeyond GDP や Well-Being への関心の高まりとともに、自然だけではなく社会全体を再生・改善し、より良い未来を創造する「リジェネレーション」という新たな概念が広がりつつあります。「サステナブル」にとどまらず、すべてのステークホルダーとともに豊かさを生み出し続ける社会にむけて、日本もこの潮流に積極的に関与し、ルール形成や実践においてリーダーシップを発揮すべきと考えています。
RegenerAction Japan は、リジェネラティブな社会の実現に向け、共に学び、共に考える場です。本イベントを通じて、参加者が自らの解釈を深め実践につなげるとともに、参加者同士のネットワークを深め新たな取り組みが生まれることを目指します。さらに、世界有数の大都市である東京にリジェネレーションの思想を取り込み、都市と地域の新たなエコシステムを構築し、次世代の都市モデルを創出することを目指しています。
Regeneration is emerging as a global movement that seeks to renew the relationship between people, nature, culture, and economy. RegenerAction Japan provides a platform to explore how regenerative thinking and practice can be interpreted, applied, and advanced in the Japanese context while contributing Japan's perspectives to the global conversation.
Bringing together leaders and practitioners from diverse fields, the event fosters dialogue, collaboration, and new initiatives that accelerate regenerative transformation. It also aims to explore how regenerative thinking can shape the future of Tokyo and inspire new connections between cities, regions, and communities.

リジェネレーション（Regeneration）とは、環境・経済・社会のしくみを根本から見直し、多元的な価値を実現しながらすべてが共に良くなる新しいシステムを創ることで、ポジティブな変化を生み出し続けることです。
サステナブルとは、持続可能な社会的・経済的繁栄のために、環境へのダメージを最小限に抑え、現在残されている地球資源を維持するアプローチです。
しかし、私たちの暮らす社会は、環境、文化、経済、生態系など様々な要素が複雑に絡み合って構成されており、地球資源の持続可能性を求めることは、同時に社会全体の豊かさの持続可能性も求めることにつながります。
リジェネレーションとは、サステナブルよりも積極的に、環境や社会システムをより良い状態に再生すると同時に、文化や社会の繋がり、人々のウェルビーイングなど、多元的な価値を創出し、より豊かな未来を築くための包括的なアプローチです。
Regeneration is an approach that goes beyond sustainability by actively restoring and renewing environmental, social, cultural, and economic systems.
Rather than simply reducing harm, it seeks to create the conditions for people, communities, and ecosystems to thrive together. By generating multiple forms of value—including well-being, resilience, cultural vitality, and ecological health—regeneration offers a holistic pathway toward a flourishing future.

RegenerActionは、2021年にFuture Food Instituteによって開始された国際的なプログラムです。本プログラムは、政治・環境・人間性・社会・文化・経済の6つの重点分野における統合的な再生を目指し、参加者の主体的な関与と具体的な行動を促進することで、持続可能な社会の実現に資する取り組みの創出と拡大を目的としています。
これまで複数にわたりイタリア国内で開催されており、EUイタリア代表部との連携のもと、食糧・健康・生態系の相互関係に焦点を当てた議論が展開されてきました。アンカンファレンスという形式を採用し、参加者が自らの意思で議論に参加することで、世界的な課題に対する当事者意識を高める場となっています。その結果、リジェネラティブ農業をはじめとする具体的な取り組みが広がり、既存の活動者間の連携が促進されるとともに、新たな実践を志す人々の後押しにもつながっています。
最新の2026年開催では、ヨーロッパ域内にとどまらず、世界各国の多様なビジネス領域のリーダーが一堂に会し、Future Food Instituteの本部が所在するポリカにて、それぞれの活動を相互に接続しながら、社会全体を取り巻く転換の方向性と、その中でリジェネレーションがどのように発展していくかについて議論が行われました。
RegenerAction is a global initiative launched by the Future Food Institute in 2021. It promotes regenerative transformation across six interconnected domains: politics, environment, humanity, society, culture, and economics.
Through its participatory unconference format, the program brings together diverse leaders and practitioners to exchange ideas, build relationships, and turn regenerative principles into concrete action. The most recent gathering in Pollica, Italy, connected participants from around the world to explore regenerative pathways for the future.
